Orders and WhatsApp Flow
Topic 03
Pickup expectations guests can trust
Set pickup rules
Tell guests where to wait, how long it takes, and when the order is actually ready. Ambiguity creates lobby traffic and cold food.

In 30 seconds
- Add a short pickup note on the menu or in the confirmation reply.
- Send Ready only when the bag is truly ready.
- Name the pickup point if your entrance is confusing.
Why this matters

Recommendation
Ready means readyDo not send the Ready alert while food is still on the pass. Trust depends on that single word.

| What you notice | What to do |
|---|
| Guests arrive too early | Give a realistic ETA |
| Guests cannot find entrance | Add pickup landmark text |
| Food waits too long | Send Ready sooner once packed |
The takeaway
Pickup is a designed experience. Write the rules into the chat and the menu.
