Not every boost is a win
A promo can get likes and still fail the kitchen.
Measure more than vanity engagement. In TTMenus Insights / Promotions, ask:
- Did people open the promoted dish?
- Did Customer actions rise?
- Was the offer worth the margin?
- Would you run it again next month?

Repeat 2-for-1 Wings WednesdayThat offer leads clicks and follow-on dish views. Free Drink Friday gets impressions but weak follow-through . Redesign the offer or the destination item.
Build a light measurement habit
You do not need a complex BI stack.
A weekly note with offer, channel, Insights metrics, and outcome is enough to stop repeating weak campaigns.
Data to decisions
| What the data says | What to do |
|---|---|
| A promotion gets lots of engagement | Consider repeating or testing a similar offer |
| High clicks, low conversion | Tighten the offer wording, price or fulfilment path |
| One channel outperforms others | Put more budget and energy there next week |
The takeaway
Promote with a scoreboard from Insights.
- Keep what works
- Redesign what only looks busy
